Milda's is a must stop. Meet Grover Cleveland! Great Deli & Gourmet Delights. Limped in parched & hungry - left full and happy!

Loved Milda's! Her baked goods are fantastic, particularly the yummy bacon buns. So good. The coffee is also good, and there is a great selection of grocery items, snacks, and cold drinks. She had a bunch of nifty Lithuanian specialty items too.

I love Milda's!! It is a great place to get lunch - soups are always delicious (love the mushroom bisque), sandwiches are big, and they have many tasty treats from around the world. My favorites here are lithuanian beet soup (altibariai), bacon buns, and wild mushroom spread. The owners are very friendly.

i love Mildas for great Lithuanian imports, and wonderful sandwiches and gyros, outstanding catering. Coffee is tasty too, I visit and support this family run business often, even before my son started working there- :) he is the cute tall blonde one that makes the best gyros!!! This mom will always come back!!!!!

Milda's been a fixture in Union Pier for a number of years now. She adds more and more grocery items and always has somethings cooking in her kitchen. I prefer Whistle Stop's more gourmet edge to their sandwiches, but I think Milda does a good job and also offers warm items like soup and pizza. With her next door neighbor's recent renovation featuring more yuppie-type treats & wine, Milda is still hanging in there strong.

What a locals favorite among the crowd of weekenders that love it. This is a year round market and deli that is just fantastic. The soups are excellent! Full of excellent food and friendly owners. It's my new lunch spot.

Great little one-of-a-kind corner joint that specializes in a little of everything: small selection of groceries, short list of homemade pastries & coffee, fresh sandwiches and grilled stuff made to order, a few helpful sundries, etc. The vibe is so casual it's almost ramshackle. The owner is a real character (the good kind) and her staff is always friendly. Scarfing down one of their insanely crunchy/creamy/juicy/delicious turkey reuben sandwiches moments after finishing the first 8 mile run of my life was one of the best decisions I've ever made. My yearly pilgrimage to Union Pier wouldn't be complete without at least one trip to Milda's.

Milda's has an eclectic selection of mostly Chicago sourced foods and grocery staples. The baked goods are quite good, especially the cheesecake and lemon scones. They lose stars for the gamey odor of the place.

Eek... this place could be hip and adorable, but it was dark and in poor condition. The grocery items are eclectic, there's your basic dairy and body care needs, ice cream, drinks, chips, random ethnic food... But when you can't clearly see the variety of fresh foods (chicken salad, coleslaw, etc) because the cooler is too dark, that's kind of scary. Things were displayed on shelves in odd ways, like a ripped-open box of granola bars so you could just grab one; or a bin of completely black bananas. My husband had a roast beef sandwich that was ok, and I had a gyros salad which was surprisingly delicious and smothered in tzatziki sauce. A good place to grab random sundries, and though it may not look appetizing, the food is pretty good. The service was nice too. I just wish they took more pride in their appearance.

My favorite place to stop for a snack when riding my bike near lake Michigan. Excellent and i mean excellent homemade cookies and pastries. The wonder bar and bread puddings are ridiculously delicious. Make sure to try the chilled beet/dill soup or the gazpacho. Very large selection of unique sodas as well.

Great shop, very friendly and they'll add just about anything to a sandwich you want. Cool variety of chilled root beers too! Yum!

$20 for three not-so-great sandwiches. Poor or lack of exhaust fan had the shop smelling like my house when I accidently burn something badly. I'm still mad that I flushed 20 bucks down the twalet.

Super cheap, right off Red Arrow Highway (12) Be mindful that this place is either not air conditioned, or barely so. There is one lowly fan where diners can eat-in. The menu has classic options, plus gyros and a summer gazpacho. The menu items are very cheap and the sandwiches are huge! I had the chicken curry salad sandwich on marble rye which was delicious, with some raisins in it, I think. My mom had the sub sandwich that was toasted and full of meat and cheese. So fresh, salty, and monstrous :) They sell everything from giardeneria and potato chips, to frozen dumplings. They also serve a mean almond raspberry brownie that can feed 3 with a sugary layer of scrumptious frosting. I wouldn't say it's a "must see, must eat" kind of place, but if you're in the mood for deli food, it's your best bet for a quick good n cheap bite!

I love Milda and Linas if you are within a 50 mile radius of Union Pier you must stop and eat here. Small deli / market Lithuian themed but all foods represented. Milda trully got it and loves what she does and Linas always has a good word or story..... rich history amazing foods......... where else are there 6-7 homemade type of deli soups on the menu. This place is a cross between the best New York and Chicago southside deli worlds. You will not be disappointed tell them SEAMUS RILEY sent you. If you are not amazed at the deli food email your receipt so I can refund your check.

Great little corner store/deli. I stayed in a vacation rental house this weekend with a few friends. Lucky for us, this little gem was a block away from our house. We walked here for coffee in the morning and we shared a piece of blueberry and pear coffee cake. It was amazing! It was hard to pick a favorite. Milda's is also carries Lithuanian fare! I am Lithuanian so it was nice to have authentic cooking I grew up with. They sell Kueglis (baked potato bacon casserole) by the pan and they have bacon buns! I was lucky to pick up a dozen just as they were coming out of the oven. The bacon buns were pure heaven! They were different than what my grandma used to make but they were still outstanding. The bacon bun consists of minced onion and bacon inside of a soft bun. Almost like a bacon biscuit. Pick some up if you are in the area, you will be in LOVE! I can't wait to go back next summer! Cute little corner store that sells delicious Lithuanian food along with standard deli items and don't forget the bakery!

Wow a great place. In my few days in the area, I stopped in for excellent coffee, delicious soup, scrumptious baked goods and assorted snacks. Staff is super friendly. Soups are marked vegetarian/vegan when appropriate. Poppy seed roll rules. A few random Asian goods, but mostly Lithuanian and Polish. Good pickles too. Several sandwiches and other meated selections.

I was driving through town and needed to stop for a quick bite and a bathroom break when I came by this out of the norm general store. The store had a vast array of drinks (o so good) and an incredible selection of tasty sandwiches. The grilled chicken sandwich was the best I had had in a while. Also the owner was a very helpful and nice guy. This store rocks
